Hello,
Long time, first time....
anyway...
I was watching tv tonight and paused a (live) show. After I hit play and started watching again I got a lot of jumping and skipping. I ended the recording, changed channels... etc. and everything seemed to be fine for awhile.
About an hour later I started having the same problem again (when I paused a live TV show). I figured that was as good as time as any to do a reset (the 2nd since 12/05) and did the red button thing.
Now I'm stuck in a loop. I get the "Hello, your DTV reciever is starting up" blue screen. Goes to black for awhile then starts to acquire Sat. signal. Goes very quick to 40% goes black and after awhile gives me the "almost done" screen.
and then it loops back and starts from the beggining.
I attempted to do a forced download, not being positive that I had the latest update (although I probably did), and that did nothing to help. It did download the firmware... but then got back into the same loop.
Any suggestions before I call DTV to ask for a replacement? (Glad Earl and Scrubs were re-runs tonight!)
