Well it's been pretty reliable until now. I have the Apprentice set up for a SL and I tried to play tonights episode and I just get a black screen and a -1:59 time on the progress bar.

I am doing a RBR right now to see if that solves the problem.

Anyone else have this issue on tonights recordings?

I did a RBR and now it is gone from the playlist.

Here we go again. What crap!!!

Same here.. this happened several times to me this weekend. Everything I had saved showed as black screen, no audio, no video, although I know all of my items did record. I did a reset and all was OK for a while.

Mine has been pretty stable for the last several months. Very odd?

Mine still gives me the occasional bad recording. About 3 or 4 times a week. It sucks knowing I paid over $200 for this thing and it doesn't work properly. It is much better than it was when I got it in October. Back then it was missing more than half of the recordings and I was having to RBR it every day. Now I only RBR it once or twice a week.

well another bad one tonight. tried to manually record a rider v st peters on espn full court ch. 784. when it was done recording it immediatley asked me if i wanted to delete. RBR made it disappear from the playlist. well gonna record games on the free r15 they sent me as a backup from now on

Yeah, I had my first B(lack) SOD tonight :( On Heroes...luckily it recorded 24 ok, but Heroes was shot. Black screen, fast forward/30s slip didn't go anywhere on it. Rebooting now and grabbing the new release candidate (I figure what the hell, it's already broken, might as well try and pray that the new one actually WORKS).

Wife is NOT happy with me right now.
