possible hd movie package?

Do you think that direct will offer a HD movie package when the new channels are available(hbo hd,showtime hd, cinemax hd,ect)? Right now i really would like to get the hbo hd channel but to get it i have to buy the whole hbo package. They wont sell the channel seperate.

With the way they describe the new 10.99 HD Access Fee, you have to have the SD version to access the HD version of the same channel.

I would seriously doubt it. I would imagine the contracts with each premium provider might require subscription to their entire channel package for each premium channel.

Basically with the new HD access fee, whatever movie packages you have, if they have HD versions then they will be included.

Having said that, don't expect any new ones until after the first sat goes up this summer.
