Does anyone use the HR-20 via RF? I have 4 RF receivers, the HR-20, R15,RCA DRD 486RH & a Samsung SIR-S4120. When I purchased the HR-20, I couldn't get any of my old RCA RF remotes to control it. So I purchased 3 RC-32RF remotes from DirecTV. I was able to get the remotes to control all receivers/TVs. Issue I am having is that when any of the remotes change the mode switch, a message is displayed on any TV watching the HR-20: "THE REMOTE IS IN TV MODE - THE REMOTE IS IN AV1 MODE - THE REMOTE IS IN AV2 MODE. What's strange about this is the remote is not controlling the HR-20 or the TV that's attached to the HR-20. I also get a SERVER IS DOWN message whenever the PC that the HR-20 is networked to is turned off. This can be quite annoying because we constantly have to hit EXIT on the remote that is controlling the HR-20. Is there a way to turn of message notifications? I know you can turn off the Caller ID notifications (which has stopped working since the last 2 upgrades, but I will save that for another thread). I know not many people use the RF functionality, but it works great in my house because we have 10+ TV monitors. I modulate all 4 receivers to different channels, so from any TV all you have to do is turn to the dedicated channel for a receiver and set the remote to a mode that controls that receiver. Is there a BUG list I can put this on? I called DirecTV and told them. I also sent them an email. Is there anything else I can do. I am having 30+ people in my house for Super Bowl tomorrow. Its going to be a pain, to hit exit when we are Watching the HD Samsung when one of the kids put another remote in AV1/AV2/Tv mode.
