Sundance Channel spotlights the creative cross-pollination between music and film in October with “Hi-Fi Fridays,” airing as four nights of music-based programming (officially starting Oct. 4). “Hi-fi Fridays” gets underway at 9 p.m. EST each Friday when Sundance Channel presents one or more films in which music is both subject and context. The evenings continue at 11 p.m. EST with “Sonic Cinema,” a Sundance Channel original program that showcases music videos, short films, short documentaries and other works that highlight the relationship between music and film.
