Showtime Plans to Air “The Opposite Sex"

Showtime announced the upcoming documentaries airing under the title “The Opposite Sex.” Each of the feature-length films will focus on one individual’s transition and surgery to change from one sex to the other. Oscar nominee Josh Aronson directs both documentaries and Dr. Bruce Hensel, Emmy Award winning medical journalist for NBC’s Los Angeles affiliate, will host The Opposite Sex. The documentaries are slated to air on Showtime in the first quarter of 2003.
