I'm curious if there is anyway to mount my CM 4228 to an existing dish arm?

I currently have one in my attic and think I'll do better with it outdoors.

I didn't know if there were brackets that allowed it to be attatched to the arm of the dish.

Thank you

Outside is better but I'm not sure I would want it "hanging off" the dish mount. You don't want to knock the dish out of alignment. Now, I do have the dish mounted on the pole for my antenna but it's a "big pole". :)

Here you go. Page down to the Combo Mounts: http://www.winegard.com/offair/mounts.htm

Don't know how well it would work with a 4228 as it is a very large antenna with 2 mounting brackets.

the 4228 has waaayy too much wind area to put on the slimline dish, without a LOT of reinforcement.

There has to be a better way...and getting the antenna outside is a really good idea, so I would look at a more conventional mount and not put your slimline at risk.

thank you so much. My attic is actually an antenna graveyard.
I also have a CM 4221, a Yagi and the old Radio Shack double bowtie.

I mounted mine to the dish arm. But I also have mine custom built to mount on the block wall and wrap up over the eaves, and braced off for hurricane force winds. Can't get OTA channels in my area, but it works great for fm reception.
