Recording Question

I have a quick question. Tonight I had 24 and Two and a Half Men set to record at 9:00pm. I was in the process of watching the Uconn Game on ESPN2 and thought the HR20 would notify me that it needed to change channels at 9:00pm since it would need both tuners to record. Well, I was into the game and realized it was 9:01 and low and behold it did start recording Two and a Half Men but not 24. Once I changed the channel to Fox it began recording but I thought like my Tivo it would tell me it needed to change channels.

Did I do something wrong, is this a bug or does the HR20 just not do this like the Tivo?

I've had the HR20 for about 5 days and so far I really like it (although like everyone I would love to have dual live buffers). No freezes yet, I'll keep my fingers crossed.

Were you watching the game delayed (using the buffer)? Did 24 record from the beginning or only from the point where you tuned the channel?

When it works right, you will get a prompt that it will change channels or you can cancel the recording & stay watching what you are.
Mine did this tonight.

No, I was watching the game live an it only recorded from when I changed the channel . Oh well, I'll have to test it out again and see what happens.
