How do force software download?

The title says it all :lol: I looked around the site but can't seem to find this simple piece of info. My system works great except that some functions of the remote lock up and require me to reset every week or so. The software version says:
0x120 So I wondered it this is the latest version and how to force an update. Thanks:)

you are on the most current version. If you can reproduce your problems, please post the instructions.

Yes that is the most current National Release.

A firmware download can be forced by doing this.
Reboot the system
When the first screen appears, press 02468 using your remote control

The remote must be in IR mode if you use RF.

For getting newer releases than what is the National Release, the cutting edge forum is for you. Take a look and see if this is something you want to do. It is not for everybody.
