I just picked up a DVR 522, to replace my single tuner 311. Trouble is, I only have one cable running to where I want to hook it up, and it wants two for the dual tuners.

What is required in terms of switches, diplexers, etc. to hook this up to take advantage of the two tuners in my new DVR? Do I have to hook up both LMB's to the switch in order to get both tuners going? At the moment, I only have two coax's running to two seperate locations of the house, one from each LMB. I'd like to get this done with as little new cabling as possible, even if it means more hardware.

Thanks for any help!

Find yourself a DPP LNB and a seperater for your 522. You make it sound like you only have 2 receivers in the house. A DPP will feed the 522 with one line and your other receiver with the other.

Thanks.

So I've looked at a photo of a DPP LNB, and I see three outputs on it. So, I'll only use two of them, with my two existing cables, and use the seperator at the 522 to get two cables for it, and the other reciever in the house will get the other feed from the dish?

Additional solutions for those with more receivers and/or satellite slots can be found on the EKB Switch Selector (http://ekb.dbstalk.com/swconfig.htm).
