View Full Version : MLB Playoff 1st Round Question
How's the 1st round work in terms of who's home at what time? Is it 2-2-1? 1st 2 games in NY, 3 & 4 in Anaheim and game 5 in NY? Thanks!

DS: Home team gets games 1-2 and 5 at home.
CS: Home team gets 1-2 and 6-7 at home.
WS: Home team gets 1-2 and 6-7 at home.
From the look of things, it's going to be like so:
Anaheim at New York
Minnesota at Oakland
San Francisco at Atlanta
St. Louis at Arizona
I took a look ahead at TVguide.com and it looks like there will be overlaps. ABC Family has games scheduled at 1:00 pacific and 4:00 pacific while FOX has its game set for 5:00 pacific.
Also it looks like the Dbax will get the series on Tues and Thurs with a day off in between Game 1 and 2. I got that info from the Arizona Republic.
Thanks, James and John. October 9th looks interesting. Both games starting at 9ET. Must be a regional telecast if that's correct.
I wasn't sure if it was 2=2=1 or whatever. I think the Dodgers are in trouble. Pitching is falling apart. Angels will have to start in New York. As Rex said yesterday, I'd rather play the Yanks in a 5 game series instead of a 7 game series. Should be an exciting week in the West as the Central and Eastern teams start resting people for the playoffs.
