DVR Recording %

I have 2 shows recorded on my HR20

King Kong (HD), and
Grey's Anatomy (HD) (1 hour episode)

and only 90% of recording is left....

Is this about right?

I know it says up to 500 hours of SD or 50 hours of HD....but how true is the 90% left that shows on mine?

It's 30 hours of MPEG2 HD I believe. 50 hours MPEG4. So you've got over 3 hours of recording. 90% is about right.

Even the non-extended edition of King Kong was over three hours. So he's over 4 hours total.
