CW channel 385?

I'm a little confused with this channel. Who is supposed to get it and who isn't? I'm in New York and I get the CW on channel 11 and I don't get 385. I was just talking with someone else who lives in the Lexington, KY area and he gets both a local CW and 385. Can anyone please explain this to me?

Also, are there plans to add the CW affilliate in HD to the HD locals? I only get the big 4 networks now.

It works the same way as the other "distant locals" located on the channels between 380 and 400. You have to live in a place that cannot get CW to get it.

As it relates to Lexington, its a market where CW is on the second digital channel. Second channels do not count under SHVIA.

Here in Greenville Washington New Bern NC we get WNCT-DT2 The CW on the local package, and The CW 385 as well, no request for it, no charge.
