I live in the Huntington/Charleston WV area and the locals are off. I don't know for how long, but when I got up at 6:30 this morning they were off.

Might be a weather problem in your area, are you getting snow or ice storm, your dish may have shifted or simply bad weather. Check your signal strength on your local transponders. Think of the folks in Oswego county, NY 130 inches of snow can pretty well bury a Dish.

They came back on around 10:00. We just had a little snow this morning so it was surprising we lost them because we about 5 inches of snow last week and never lost them. Just glad they are back on.

If it happens again check your signal strength, when they are out. Your locals are on transponder 32 of the 129 satellite. That may be all you get off of 129 unless you have HD programming. Maybe you have a problem with the lnb looking at 129.

Thanks for the advice. I will definitely check my signal strength if this happens again. Hopefully it won't, but you never know.
