Adding a 2nd dish for locals

I am wondering what comes with the free 2nd dish install for local channels?

I have 2 dual LNBs with a sw42 switch to 2 receivers. Will the installer swap out the LNBs for a twin/sw21 or use a sw64. Need to find out so I can maximize my options. Thanks

We probably can't say with any certainty what will happen, because the reports we've been seeing so far seem to indicate that installers tend to use (1) what they have on hand, or (2) what they can get cheaply, or lastly (3) what you might want, if different.

Please let us know what happens, but, for what it's worth, you could try putting in a request beforehand for a specific configuration. Maybe, if the message can get through before they show up, it might be just as easy for them to bring what you want as any other random components off the shelf that would work.

Chances are they will just casscade the sw42 with sw21. You didn't say what receivers you have. Some older models won't allow casscading in which case they would have to use an sw64.

I have a 5000 and a 7200 so I think cascading will be ok. I will let you know what happens. thanks
