I live in Spokane, WA and last night I tuned in to the FSN NW (channel 426) to watch the WSU versus Washington Huskies game, but was unable to watch it because a blacked-out Seattle Sonics game was being shown instead. However, the local Comcast cable station did show the WSU game on their FSN NW channel. How is this possible? Aren’t the same programs supposed to be offered regardless of provider?

The college game should have been available on an ALT ch. (444-453). Comcast, being a regional cable company as opposed to a national satellite company, most likely chose the one non-blacked out game to show on its main FSN NW ch.
