Instructions on fine tuning Sat 99 & 103?

My installer could not get the signal above 17% on 103 & nothing on 99.....He was very young and told me that He had been only doing the Slimline installation for the last month!!!

Does anyone have a detailed instrurtion as how to get the signal higher....Im just curious to see if i can do it!!!

You'll want a satellite signal meter to do the job properly. Check out the AT9 dish installation videos at http://www.solidsignal.com (although their web site seems to be down right now).

I just called D* and was told buy the installation dept. that the installer should have been able to adjust this with no problem......None the less D* is sending a Lead Tech back out tomorrow Saturday 17th to do the job correctley:)

Not that it really matters a whole lot......I dont have HD locals availible yet but was told by the Install dept at D* I need to go ahead and get this fixed while my stuff is under warranty!
