Recording mysteriosly canceled

I manually set up a recording of the NASCAR Busch race which was run yesterday and a couple of programs after it on Friday Night. When I went to watch it yesterday it wasn't there. The History shows it as canceled. I again went to the guide to see if it would be played again and it was on at 1:30 AM. I selected it to record again and this morning it again shows canceled in the history. I then checked my prioritizer and noticed that the Busch series I had set up was also missing. Anyone have any clues to what might have happened?

I had a similar problem trying to record a movie--Mission Impossible 3-- just a few days after I received my HD-DVR. I discovered it recorded only about 3 minutes. [It was on pay per view and I had not paid.] Oh well. :nono: I haven't made THAT mistake again.

I had the same thing happen to two season premieres of shows last week. The only thing I can figure is that it downloaded new software the night before and since D*, in their infinite wisdom, decided to NOT cache the Guide data on this turd-of-a-DVR, you will have the problem every time your DVR reboots!
