CSI from NBC/KNBC Los Angeles last Thursday/ Anybody else?

Last Thursday’s CSI from my local NBC/KNBC Los Angeles (HDTV)
recorded on my 2 HR20 had lots of pixelation and glitches similar
to those when the dish is out of alignment and there is low signal strength,
but when I perform a test both units show good signal in all sats.

I’m running 0x130 on both boxes, and I’d like to know if somebody else
has experienced the same problem after downloading 0x130.

Lots of people had problems with Los Angeles MPEG4 locals last week. I had problems with the Office on NBC and Grey's on ABC on Thursday. I'm guessing it was a system issue (encoder or something) and not an issue with your box and definitely not 0x130 since many people reported prior to 0x130 being released.

Tons of problems with KNBC last Thursday, there's a couple posts in the HR20 forum. But, CSI is on KCBS. I read of problems with ABC and NBC last week but you're the first person I read with issues with CBS.

You are right Lamontcraston, CSI is on KCBS, my mistake.
I have experienced several problems with KNBC as well, but
as you say, this is the first for me involving KCBS. The temporary
freezes,pixilation and glitches were severe (almost unwatchable), and
were present during the entire hour, and since nobody else is reporting
the same problem, I’m suspecting that it could be related to my system.
If it was KCBS, I can’t believe they didn’t correct the problem…
....…or should I? :rolleyes:

It is not likely to be related to the new 0x130 (sorry Earl,I should have
posted in the main forum), but since this occurred just after downloading
the new software, I had to ask.

I’ll keep watching….
