View Full Version : HR20 woes begin already :(

So I was supposed to have my HR20 installed today, well at 7:45 the installer still had not showed up, supposed to be here at 7. I called his number and asked him what was going on. He stated they had to cancell the install because they where out of hr20's. Well this sucks. LOL So about i get off the phone with him and call D*. I tell them I am going to cancel and that dishnetwork said they could be out today with there hd equipment. They give me the I can see your a great customer bla bla bla and place me on hold. She comes back on and offers me a yr of dvr service for free. I hold out and she then also offers me 2 mos of premium pack free. I then ask her for 3 mos and she says she cant do that So i ask her to give me 2 mos of setanta also and its good. She adds it then credits my account 28 dollars. Bingo. So the install manager calls about 2 hrs later and says they will be getting more in on WED. and will be coming out thursday and I am guranteed a Hr20. Sooooooooooooooo a bit frutstrationg but works for me with the freebies they threw at me.

Well.....It seems you're taking it in stride. Yea, it sucks when you wait for new toys and then you can't get your hands on it. At least D* CS is trying to ease the pain.

Yeah, you can't complain about that. Sounds like they set you up nicely...the wait will be worth it.

P.S. HDTVSportsfan, your avatar reminded me there are less than 2 months until opening day in the Bronx...woo hoo!

Yeah, I'm looking forward to it. I heard the tail end of some comment A-rod made today. Something about Jeter, From what I could tell it was interesting.
