Attach the file, just like you did before. Instead of zipping it up, just browse for the actual photo and upload the photo. This site will accept JPEG (or .jpg) files.

I did the pics, so I'll let some of these other geniuses run the cables.
One thing, have you considered using a HDMI switch to simplify things?
I used a two port switch to feed my DVD and HR20 into my tv. Works great.

HD DVD....COMP2.........OPT1 (problably assignable)
HR20......HDMI..........OPT2 (problably assignable)
And don'tforget the programable remote :)

will do surround sound.
to tape just hook up regular vid/audio (yellow/red/white) cable from either output on hr20 to in on vcr.. it will drive all outputs at the same time.

You would not believe how many wires i have hooked up.Almost all of the Conn. on the Receiver have a wire in it.

I think this will work.
420benz,
Don't commit to this until others have reviewed and commented on it.
Sometimes I miss things.
But I think an HDMI switch will greatly simplify things for you.

1. Make sure that the optical audio out from the tv will function as pass-thru with the tv's built-in speakers muted. Yiou want it to carry the audio from the HDMI port back out to the AV Receiver.
2. Make sure you're moving audio across all HDMI's. I know the HR20 does.
You can get HDMI switches that use a remote to toggle the feeds. Mine's manual... push button.
Others, Please review this and comment.

What would this look like if i only used an HDMI from the HR-20 to the TV.And no Optical cables at all. I am only going to use Surround Sound with the HD DVD and i would like to be able to use the speakers from the TV. I don't see any cables for sound from the HD DVD. Sorry for being such a PITA.

HDMI handles sound and video together.
The HD DVD sends sound to the tv via HDMI. The tv sends that sound to the amp via optical.
Using HDMI whenever possible means one cable for sound and video.
Components would use five per connection. Three for video and two for audio.
Using optical wherever possible means one cable for all channels of surround sound audio. Otherwise, you'd have two cables for each audio connection.
With the HDMI switched setup posted above, you can use the speakers from the tv anytime you want. You can use them with the surround speakers or you can turn the amp off and use just the tv for sound. The only device that isn't sending sound to the tv is the dvd/vhs combo.
Both the HR20 and the HD-DVD are feeding audio to the tv and to the amp.
You'd be cheating yourself out of some great sound by not using the surround system for tv and the other devices, however.

The switch determines which device sends its signal to the tv.
Your tv has one HDMI input, but you have two devices with HDMI outputs. The HR20 and the HD-DVD.
If you're watching HD-DVD's, you'll switch it over to that HDMI, either by use of a remote or by manually pushing a toggle button on the switch itself.
If you're watching tv from the HR20, you'll flip the switch the other way.

The manual HDMI switch from Monoprice is under $30 and works well for me. I don't mind getting up to switch inputs.

All of us can easily find someone on these forums who knows more about a given subject than we do.
I suspect there are things you know in your field of expertise that would boggle my mind entirely.
You're Welcome.
