I just activated an HR10-250 last week and have yet to see it 6.3c applied. I have forced 2-3 calls a day. This box was purchased on ebay and has not been tampered with or upgraded. It still has the 3.1.5f software.

Everything I have read suggests I that 6.3c should be available to everyone now.

Anyone have any suggestions or do these roll outs take a few weeks to trickle down to all of the tivo owners.

Thanks!

I don't have any suggestions. However my DirecTV TIVO SDVR80 (<whatever) (Standard Definition/ 80GB) didn't get 6.3 until 2 days ago.

How do you force a call to get 6.3c? Is it the standard way of forcing a call?

I honestly can't remember. This forum doesn't get much mileage. You might want to try this http://www.tivocommunity.com/tivo-vb/forumdisplay.php?f=7

You don't want 6.3c, since I got it my HR10-250 is rebooting at least 4 times per night and often is very sluggish and has stuttering video quality, never have seen anything like this for the past years I've owned it.

Remember when a Tivo receives an upgrade it flips the root/boot partitions. There are 2 sets of root/boot sections on the HD. In your case 6.3c was installed on the inactive set and then the bootpage flipped. Some folks do experience problems after an upgrade due to the new partitions having bad sectors. You can experience the problems you mentioned due to a bad spot on the HD in the newly used partitions. If possible you may want to run the DOS based (not windows) diagnostics that the HD vendor supplies on their web site.
