Has anyone hear, or read, what we should expect late summer when (if) D* adds all those HDTV channels they promised during CES?

Specifically, I’m interested to know if I’ll need to add more LNB’s to my dish or if they plan to implement these so the 5LNB (AT9) dish can receive the lot.

The 5LNB dish *is* the dish you need to receive the new HD channels.
First sat will go up in a few months.
New HD won't be up until that sat launches and is good to go, probably fall.

But, the 5LNB dish is already pointed at 5 satellites. Are these new satellites supposed to replace existing satellites?

No, you can have multiple satellite's at one location. example there could be 3 sats at the 99 location.

To hit 100 channels this year, they need a bunch of new HD channels.
