I've been playing around with the network music player function. It's okay although having a capability to display album art stored on the computer would make it a lot easier to use .. I've had problems every time stopping the music player and then trying to get it to resume audio of the television show I was watching. I press stop to stop the music player, then press the yellow button to go back to video control and t never resumes audio without changing channels and then back again. The problem with that is that I lose the Live buffer.
Just now, I tried the music player again and repeated the steps above and now I have NO control over the DVR at all. Pressing any button on the remote results in no action whatsoever. I would just hit the red button, but there IS something recording and without any control of the box, I can't even find out what it is that is recording.
Pretty lame!
