My installation today went very well. I got the new 5-LNB dish, a new HR-20, a new R15 for the bedroom, and my existing HR10 moved to a new location. Everything went well, the installer was informative and diligent, and I'm very pleased so far.
It's too early to tell if my HD locals from the dish will really deliver, but my OTA reception is pretty good, so I'm not too worried about that. I've set up some shows to be recorded, but the program grid isn't complete yet, so I'll have to wait to set up some of my recording choices.
Now, if the recordings on my HR10 survive until I get another HD monitor installed in the den, I won't lose my recordings of Rome and Studio 60. Then I'll really be a satisfied customer.
