looking for a IR non radio repeater

My DP is now being interfered with. I use the radio shack pyramid. I figure its best to go with one that places thre IR signal on the coax to make this problem go away.

Any good not too expensive sources?

Have you tried changing the remote address? Most of time this will work if it is outside signals that are the problem. I'm not aware of a cheaper solution. The pyramids will not work well when the 2nd TV set is to far away or has to many walls or obstructions in its path. If you have a 2nd receiver that is closer, you may want to try the pyramids on that one.

Unfortunately its my dishplayer, and they dont have receiver codes. The location is marginal anyway since some of the drywall has metal lathe in in. My UHF receivers I have on a extended antenna and amp. This finally fixed the flakey remote problem.

My wife really wants the DP to work in multiple locations and doesnt want the hard drive noise in the bedroom.
