I am changing a faulty 322 for a new one. The receiver is currently diplexing a signal to the next room for tv2. The diplexed cable run is 40 ft back to the spliter and 40 ft back to the next room. Would I get a better picture on my tv2 feed if I just ran a direct 20 foot cable over to the next room. I get some ghosting on tv2. Thanks Kev

There's a good chance you would see a difference. It's worth a try. I would run the cable on the floor into the next room (bypassing the diplexer) first, to see if there actually is a noticable difference before putting holes in your walls.

Considering the short distance, I would say no. If your picture quality is still inferior or grainy after you bypass the diplexers, you may want to change the modulator 'out' channel to the TV2. :icon_cool
