It is plugged into a standard landline, NOT a VOIP. And it cannot retrieve a list of local phone numbers.
It will dial and connect but stall at negotiating. If you pick up another phone and listen you can hear it making the usual modem noises but it never connects.
It only made one call and that was during activation 2 years ago, haven't had a landline since then.
The receive has also been reset to the factory settings. No luck.
Any ideas?
