2 Year HD Commitment

Do the 2 year commitments stack?

My current contract ends August 2007. If I add a new HR20 this month, would my commitment end March 2009 or August 2009?

Then if I waited until, say June, to upgrade my HR10 to a HR20, would my commitment end in June 2009 or August 2011?

I talked to a CSR and she said they stacked. I realize 90% of them don't know what they're talking about, so I hope she falls into that 90%. Otherwise, after 11 years of being a loyal customer - I'm GONE. I'm thinking about bolting just with a 2 year commitment, but if they stack... It was a good ride DirecTV...

Any new commitment simply replaces whatever you have left on an old one. So if you activate a receiver today your commitment is 2 years from today (no matter how much was left on a previous commitment).

If they stacked there would literally be people with like, 6...8 year commitments because of all the new equipment they keep adding or changing! -rofl- Lifetime commitment! -giggles-
