DLB and HR20 EarlB can we get info?

Earl, I know that you have stated that we wont see DLB in the near future and I think most of us can accept that. What I am wanting to know and am sure others would appreciate is some kind of answer from D* on weather they have any intentions on giving us DLB or is it just a pipe dream. I think answering this question would quiet some of the grumbling in regards to DLB.

and I would imagine that "Until Further Notice" there won't be any clue as to when DLB will be available.

Once again, I am sorry if it seems rude - it is not my intention. There have been so many posts just like this one. I'm sure Earl will inform us as soon as there is ANY change in DLB progression as I'm sure he knows how important it is to everyone. :)

IMHO - It may be something Earl cannot answer.

Point - If D* said NO, then Earl may have the open door to say "NO". If they are considering it, then not only would it make the headline post of "when, is it there yet?, and other polls of guessing". It is on the wish list, there have been hundreds if not thousands of posts about it. Honestly Earl does not "spill the beans" directly and I believe that is part of what keeps his relation with D* the way it is. Putting this type of question directly may challenge Earl's integrity to some degree.

So maybe it is a possibility since the "NO" has not been posted.

Final - This is my opinion only. Not to be taken as a jab at anyone on what they want to ask or post on the DBSTalk Forum. I am just a humble participant of this Forum and will continue to be.

Nope not rude but it looks as though you misunderstand my post. You say we will be informed as soon as there is ANY CHANGE IN DLB PROGRESSION and thats what im asking for. We havent been given an answer really one way or the other. Does D* even intend to add DLB or is this just a pipe dream. Because the sooner we know that they have no intentions to add DLB the sooner the countless post in regards to us wanting DLB will stop. Id still like some kind of answer from Earl him self as requested in my original post.

Its all good guys and Spanky if that be the case that Earl CANT specify one way or the other because of his relationship with D* then thats cool and I understand completely but let us know that.

:) Thanks for understanding my post. I think they started it with the 90 minute buffer - which was a good sign toward DLB. We just don't know the extent of the "issues" between D* and Tivo

I gave responses speculating as to why D* can't decide.
