I've had my 625 receiver Caller ID feature activated for several months now and only once has it ever displayed properly on the screen. Usually it doesn't show up at all, although in the Caller ID call history, all of the phone calls received are listed there. Anyone know what the problem might be?

Thanks.

My 921 does that sometimes & I'll go in and delete the caller id history & it fixes it. May be worth a try.

Okay, I just cleared the history. We'll see if that does it.

Thanks.

Maybe you have too many phones or other devices plugged into the phone line?

Never thought of too many phones being the problem. I'll disconnect a few and see if that solves it. Thanks for the suggestion.

Mine doesn't work but I'm using one of those wireless bridges and i'm guessing that is the issue for me.

I use a wireless phone jack and it shows calls that I do not receive. It seems to be showing somebody elses incoming calls. I'm pretty sure it is a neighbor because I live in a small town and a lot of the incoming calls are from in town (I can tell by the prefix).

I fooled around with it a little bit and the dialtone does go away if I unplug it from my phone line.

Strange.

My caller ID history only shows some calls that came in for the last 24 hours. Even when the receiver was on during some of those incoming calls. It would be nice if it showed it all.

When a call comes in, I always see it on the screen. Strange.

I've had numerous tc's for this very thing.About the only thing i would check is to see if the system is grounded properly.Other than that it's been my experience that caller id's work on avg. 50 -70 percent of the time if your lucky.

I've noticed if you checked the logs for the Caller ID sometimes there are calls listed that didn't show on screen.

Interestingly, I guess, our 622 and also 942 Caller ID's work 100% of the time...

I turned mine off because it is an annoyance to have it constantly popping up during programs. Besides, I have an AT&T caller ID that announces the number audibly, or the name of the caller if it's programmed for it.
