I am new here, and I did look for the answer before I posted :)
I just upgraded the the new slimline dish and the HR-20. I also have the Zinwell 6*8 multiswitch.
I only have two lines running to my house. For reasons I wont go into, I cant run any addtional lines in? I am just screwed? I can't get my HD locals with the old multiswitch. If I use the new one, I cant seem to get anything but even transponders? Am I just not plugging this new switch in right? Or do i really need to have all 4 lines running to the multiswitch?
Thanks for the help!!!

All four lines are needed to the dish from the switch, or you will have just what you are having.
The four inputs will have 13V, 18V, 13V & 22kHz, 18V & 22kHz. Without all of these you don't get all of the transponders.

Hang in there D* is working hard on a device just for your situation. Not sure when it will be availible but I can say it works in testing. check out http://www.dbstalk.com/showthread.php?t=78249 and the Cutting Edge forum.
Stay tuned they ARE working on it..

How many receivers do you have? If just the HR20, you can run the two cables into it without using the multiswitch (you can feed 4 tuners that way). To go beyond this you will need to either run additional cables or wait for the SWM (which also requires all 4 cables, but can be mounted outside).
