I've got a brand new HR20. I've recorded Lost and Rome, as well as other things, and they've mysteriously been deleted. I saw a software update occur the other day when the installer was here. I figured that was all I needed.

I'm off to scan to the FAQ, but one quick question:

Is there anyway I can undelete my deleted programs with the HR20? Please say yes.

Did the installer come after you recorded the programs? I'm a little confused.

Also, there's no way to "undelete" that I've ever heard of.

No, the installer came, installed my dish, and left me this POS DVR. I know there are numerous problems with the HR20, some problems being solved by software updates, so when I saw that happen, I figured that was a good thing. And I didn't expect to have my 2 favorite shows mysteriously deleted. I can get Rome back, but not Lost!

I've searched around and haven't been able to find anything about this self-delete problem. Any help would be appreciated.

After further checking, I do have the latest version which is 0134. So with the latest software version, I have programs self-deleting. This is depressing.

Yeah, well my family will have to gather in the bedroom to watch it on a SD 27" TV now.

Did you try an RBR (red-button reset)? That fixed lost recording problems for me twice.
