View Full Version : Anyone lose ABC11(HD) in Raleigh?

The channel has gone dark? I rebooted... no help. All other channels are OK. Is it just me?

I'm seeing the same thing from WTVD. HD LIL is black, SD LIL is fine.

I'd say it's something with the affiliate's uplink but....

11-1 is fine OTA through my TV's tuner and wont come in at all through the HR-20.

I've switched to the Greensboro affiliate 45-1. It's coming in OTA via the HR-20 just fine at least it is tonight.

That's odd. My D* Ch. 11 WTVD is blank (black screen) also, but my OTA WTVDD Ch. 11.1 is just fine. I don't know why the HR20 would block an OTA channel that being received. (Note the time, might be a difference there.)

My D* channel is also black, but the HR20 is picking up the OTA signal with no problems.

I've noticed the tuner in my TV is better than the ones in the HR20. OTA Channels that come in just fine or show just a little pixelation on the TV's tune I get the "Searching for signal (771)" message.

At any rate, WTVD's HD LIL channel is back this morning.

I've got just the opposite to report. I lost ABC HD (7-1, 7-2, 7-3 in Illinois) with 0x134, but got it back when 0x13e went National yesterday morning. Not sure why we are losing HD channels with updates, seems odd to me. Earl (or anyone else for that matter) can you shed some light on why this is happening?
