View Full Version : How many coax cables ?
I'm upgrading to the 622 and as part of this I need a second dish for 61.5. There are two coax cables from the cuurent dish to the reciever , when they install the second dish does this mean two more coax cables or can the use the existing runs ? I'm not a big fan of punching holes through the building envelope.

The necessary switches should be included. There is no way to run three coax cables from you dishes directly to your ViP622. You may even be able to go to one coax and a dish seperator if they put in a DPP switch or DPP twin.

If they set you up with a DishPro Plus Twin, you can run both satellite tuners from one line and use the other to bring in OTA without having to add diplexers.
