What makes you think i will? With each new satellite the promise of better picture quality is soon forgotten in favor of all thise that demand more channels.

It will be hard for PQ to improve much because most of the national channels are on 119, not 110 where E8 is at. It is possible that they could move a few channels from 119 to 110, but it will be really hard to since AT50 and AT100 are listed as needing 119 only.
They still have a bunch of non dish 500 systems out there. Unless they want to upgrade a bunch of dish 300 to dish500 they will not be able to do much with the load on 119.

Hey Tony, are you the picture quality god now? Are you expecting tribute in order to increase picture quality?

I have a better idea.. why don't they use this new satellite for HDTV transmissions. This way, us dish 500 customers don't need to get a second dish for HDTV.
By the way, any suggestions how to find if I have a clear view of 61.5? i had my first dish installed by a dish rep installer, so I don't know. just tell me where to look on the compass, and at what angle up.

Well, if PQ doesn't improve, I might be jumping ship. I remember, back in the day, when you could watch a scene with smoke, or water, and, gosh darnit, it would look like smoke or water, not legos!
