View Full Version : After install nothing on #119

Ok after my install yesterday, I am getting NOTHING on 119....Zero all the way across for signal strength, I already called and have a "fix-it" setup for Sunday the 1st, but I was wondering what could be the problem here? I am thinking it could be a bad LNB...bad aim on the dish...anything other ideas?

Is this your first dish or did you have a dish up before? If you had one up before what dish was it?

Not sure of the old dish that used to be there...I just had an R10 using only the single tuner until yesterday.
I switched out the pole to account for the 2" one needed with the AU9-S, and that sucker is rock solid

Is there a tree or something that could be blocking 119 from getting a signal?

Nothing that I can see...probably the closest thing out in front of it would be about 300' away @ normal 2-story house height..does 119 shoot at a "wild" angle or something?

It is off to the side a little so it may be pointed a little off. But you may have a bad LNB.

Alright...guess I will have to wait and see what they come up with next Sunday....Thanks for the info

We're assuming you never had it? The installer was supposed to check for signals on all SAT's.
Not a perfect world i guess.

Yeah I am assuming I never had them...I zoned out and didn't check all of them before he took off...even after all the research I did here too! LOL, well looks like next Sunday they will stop out here and take a look at it (for free of course)
