625 problem: scheduler lost guide data

One of my 625s recently developed a new problem...

A few days ago, it locked up hard. I had to disconnect power in order to get it back.
Since then, it has apparently not properly updated it's internal program guide data. Even though the program guide will display fine, trying to record a program out of the guide will report a failure to get guide data, and all of the scheduled records now display "no information available", and have an invalid end time.

I did power cycle it again last night.

Any ideas? Is it just dead?

Try doing a check switch, that should force it to download a fresh guide. I think it's under system setup, installation, point dish, check switch. That's totally from memory and I have a 622 so not sure if that is correct. Just make sure nothing is recording when you do it.

I have also had guide issues where I had to go to my timers list and select each timer to get it to pull current info from the guide. My timers were recording and not stopping until I did this.
