H20 to HR20 question

My Parents have a H20 with the 3 LNB receiver that I purchased for them for their 50th anniversary. Now that the debacle with Tivo is over, is it safe to purchase or lease the HR20? Is it stable? I'm asking cause my folks are relatively happy with the H20 and the HD and I'd hate to get them into a problem with a unstable receiver.

I'd say do the swap. The HR20 does have a few more issues with it then the H20 but you pick up a receiver that D* is actively adding new features to while the H20 has been basically ignored since it came out, as in still no active feature in the national release code.

I agree. Plus, when you get the HR20, D* will also upgrade you to the 5 LNB dish. In fact, insist on it so you are ready for the new channels when the two new satellites go up later this year/early next year.
