Nat'l Geo Cha 95 & 98 problems!

wednesday night I recorded the Nat'l Geo HD Sneak peak #8. I am trying to watch it in a different room live right now and I get "Channel not purchased". I am on hold with tech support now.

Any ideas? I get all my other HD channels fine. get this on both HR20's.

Maybe it's the Sacramento DMA? My listing of the same program said it recorded 16 minutes but nothing was there at all. Seems like there have been a lot of problems with these Nat Geo previews. Gto a friend in Central CA and he has not been able to DVR any of the Nat Geo previews. Maybe that's why they are previews. They are testing it out. Needs a lot of work in my opinion.

I recorded it Wednesday with no prob but want to watch in a dif room.

I set to record it last night as well. This morning I had two recordings of it. One was a blank recording with a progress bar of one minute. The other was a recording of 47 minutes (that's about right, I think) that when I play gives me a "Searching for Authorized Content" message. To add to the perplexity. I deleted the one minute recording and then went back to the 47 minute one. And the info screen (the one you get that gives you the option to "play") says at the bottom that this recording was deleted by me. Go figure!

Oh yes, I got it off 98 as well. Could it be that 95 would record while 98 would not?

I have tried to record multiple shows on 77,95, and 98.

All are either blank or to call to subscribe.

I just got done watching the Galapagos Sneek Peek #7 & 8 recorded from 98 and it was just awesome! I've seen just about every preview on that channel. I couldn't get anything from 77, just the "Authorized content" thing. I do subscribe to the biggest package D*'s got though, aside from Titanium... :D

Strange things happening when I record off of 98 as well. I always get two recordings and one of them will be black, the other one will be fine. They are both time stamped the same.

I have been able to delete the black hole recording and keep the good recording.

Same here for me but the longer recording was good for me. Wierd happenings

Weird, I've recorded all of the sneak peaks so far without problem.

Recorded #8 this morning and it started with "authorized content" then about 10-15 min into the recordins FSN came on and their show was playing.

Last night the Lakers games on FSN West HD went into overtime so it ran over the NGCHD Sneak Preview timeslot.
