We finally got HD Locals in our area last week, but figured I'd ask if this is an HR20 issue, a D* issue, just my HR20, or something normal with HD locals thru D*.

I've had no pixelation or audio issues, although I've noticed when I first change the channel to an HD local, half the screen is green and the other half has the HD local's (picture for about 1 second) and then the regular HD picture takes over. A little weird, but not a big issue.

Anyone else see this?

Do you have "native mode" enabled on your HR20? This could simply be your TV's way of synchronizing a video resolution change when you change channels.

I thought the same thing, but it sounds like he is experiencing this only on the MPEG-4 channels. If it's truely a resolution change issue, it should happen with all HD channels, not just the locals.

I have NATIVE OFF. It only seems to happen with my MPEG-4 HD locals through D*. Does not happen with the other HD channels (like ESPN, Universal HD, HDNet, etc.).
