So, the former Eastern Champion Nets will air on YES this season. Anyone know if Dish will open up talks with them again now that the merger will most likely fall through?

There is an easy solution for those in the NY area that complain about not getting Yes Network. :)

Why not switch and not worry about the negotiations?

I thought the Nets still had this upcoming season left from their old contract and the Devils still have 2 years left?

Don't think so. I believe they will be on YES. If I'm wrong, sorry....then we can pick up the discussion next year.

As for the "switch" issue, I'm waiting until the whole merger issue is put to bed and someone gives a real financial picture of DirecTV post-merger. Why switch if D* will go bankrupt anyway (not to mention the cost of new equipment and installation in multiple rooms)?

Nets are definitely on YES this year. They plan to carry 75 regular season games. There is a telecast of a Nets' exhibition game next Tuesday on YES.

I hope that dish network gets Yes. Who do you think will get Yes Network first; cablevision or Dish network?......I beginning to think Dish network is to cheap to get Yes....
