I could not find a specific forum for my hr10-250. Is there one? I'd like to post/find answer to the following:

This is a longshot but I wonder if there is anyway to bypass the "Channel Categories" screen when you click the "Guide" button? It sure would be handy - I've probably use that screen maybe 2 or 3 times in the last several months of the time.

I know that you can click it twice to get there, but there seems to be a built in delay - you can't quick the button twice too quickly - which is sort of what you want to do to skip that screen.

Thanks.

Are you sure you are not asking about the HR20 or R15? There is a way around it on the HR20...but others or that forum would be of more help to you.

Thanks but I do have a couple of HR20s and have tweaked the guide button but I am talking about my HR10-250 which I've had for awhile.

On the HR10-250 you should not need to press Guide twice to see the Channel Guide. On my HR10-250 it's just one press of Guide. And the HR20 now has a menu setting to enable the Channel Guide on one press.

By the way, the HR10-250 Tivo-based DVR is covered here ....

And I've moved this thread there, where it will get proper feeding and care. :)

(Tho litzdog911 always does a good job.)

Cheers,
