Just as the title says. I thought at first it was the kids accidentally messing with the menu, but thats not the case. Every couple of days the caller id stops functioning and i have to go into the menu to turn notices back on. Anyone with caller id issues should check to see if you have the same problem as me.

I noticed the same thing happening the last couple of days.

It's been happening here, too, and now it doesn't work even when turned on.

RBR doesn't fix it. It has been going on now for about a month and 2 different software versions. It is only happening on one of my 4 hr20's.

Same here. Been going on for quite a while. New software or RBRs will fix the problem for about five calls, then it just stopw working.

It could still be someone in the house...

I know I have caught my wife, hitting the second option on the Caller-ID dialog screen.... which turns off caller-id notifications completely.
You don't have to go into the Menu...

This happened again yesterday, but Wife and kids have been away with her mom for a few days:D (a deserved rest). And i did not touch anything. I have had this hr20 since September and this just started happening within the last month.

I suspected that so I took control of the remote for a few hours Take my word for it, mine is turning itself off. And the last time I turned it back on, it did not work.

Just before the last update I did an RBR because CID wasn't working at all. My wife says it has been intermittent since then.

No big problem, more strange than anything else.

I too have the same problem. It began with version 141. Caller ID had always been stable before that.

Update on my reply..
I wanted to be sure it was fixed before commenting.
Did a reboot and all is well now.

I have noticed that my caller ID is sporadic. Works on one call then does not work thne on next call will be working again.

To be honest this is the only "problem" i have had with my HR20.

It happened again yesterday even after a full reboot (Unlugged). It's only happening on 1 of my HR20's. No big deal as it only happens every few days.

Mine is still not working. I may try the CE release for that reason alone.
