I've had my HR20 a little over a week and it is Much better than when it was first installed. I have not had a missed recording, or had many artifacts for several days now. What is really great is that has solved (almost) my main problems with the R15. Slow slip on the R15 turns into really fast skip or the HR20. I can actually record things with commercials because the skip is almost as good as Tivo's. I was recording only premium channels with the R15 and delegating the rest to the DVR40.

I have no more todo limit of 100. My sls are jacking it up to 105 with no problem.

I have two fantastic NGC previews !

I have two fantastic NGC previews !First, you're saying that you've seen a noticeable improvement in 1 week?

And second, there is still a SL limit of 50. Not sure if it matters to you, but it's there.

Yes, there is a great improvement, hence my title about burn in; like a computer.
The SL limit never bothered me. I have SLs that have multiple showings per day and I could only get about 4 or 5 SLs before the TDL kicked in.
