I am enormous NBA fan (6 year league pass subscriber) and HD enthusiast... it kills me that many out-of-market NBA games are available in HD, but aren't carried in HD on the NBA league pass. With the new birds going up, can I expect to be able to get all of the out-of-market games in HD where available? Will I have to pay more (a la MLB EI)?

At some point, I expect all NBA games, (as well as NFL, MLB, and NHL) that are in HD will be available to all subscribers, tho prossibily at higher prices. NFL and MLB are that way today.

And at some point all the HD games will require the H20 or HR20 receivers or their replacements, tho no one is sure when the transition will occur. Probably not this season for the NFL.

Cheers,
Tom

I hope they do show all the nba games in HD next year,i have had NBA league pass for 11 years, the first year i had NBA TEAM PASSwhere yo paid $99.00 a year to watch JUST 1 teams games i picked the celtics. BTW does anyone know when D*s contract with nba league pass expire? I hope indemand doesn't pull a fast one and gets an exclusive contract for league pass like D* tried to do with MLB EI, I"D hate to have to switch to cable!
