I like how he was described as asexual... How do sponges reproduce? Anyway he looks like a manmade sponge so I guess he doesn't have any sex...

That would explain his being seen with Tinky Winky.

Have you noticed in the cable ratings that Bob routinely pulls in 7 or 8 of the top 15 cable show slots. Pretty impressive. I have also read that Bob rules on college campuses across the nation, which helps explain the shows great ratings.

It's a CARTOON people. A CARTOON. Geeze...why do these special interest groups have to make an issue out of everything to support their political agenda?

I guess Bugs Bunny was gay because he kissed Elmer Fudd.

I always thought there was something fishy with SpongeBob, he always seems to be losing his pants, often times in front of Patrick or Squidward, during the show.

Bugs Bunny wasn't gay...

He was a transvestite...

SpongeBob is hilarious, I wish they had it around when I was a little kid. SpongeBob is the only good show to come out of that network in the last 4 years, IMHO.

Ahh Ren and Stimpy one of the best shows MTV Networks ever had, IMO.

I think they had a total of ~52 episodes, compared to the other Nicktoons, yeah, not enough episodes :(

I don't know. But I'm watching it right now:) It's really funny and entertaining. Highly enjoyable. I disagree with the Ren and Stimpy link - I don't see that link and I always HATED Ren and Stimpy!

Fuuny you should ask..............

Sponges reproduce both sexually (with gametes, or egg and sperm) and asexually (without gametes). Sponges are hermaphrodites which means that they are both male and female - they can produce both egg and sperm. The eggs or sperm are released at difference times to enable cross-fertilization with other sponges. After eggs are fertilized, the larva floats about before it settles to the ocean bottom where it will grow into an adult sponge. Sponges also reproduce asexually by the formation of buds or gemmules.

I asssume that this is WAY more than you wanted to know about
old Sponge Bob
