Hey, I'm planning on buying a RC32RF remote for my R15, mainly to control my DVD player, which leads to question number 1: where can I find a online listing of the brands of devices this thing supports? Does it support anymore than the RC23 that came with my R15?
Question 2 is: Can I get these stand alone at a Best Buy or Circuit City, or even a Wal MArt that sells DIRECTV receivers and service? I'm more of a store shopper, myself.
and finally, Question 3: Is this remote leased or owned? And will getting it extend my contract? All my equipment is owned, if that matters.
Thanks so much for all ya'll do.

1. http://www.ezremote.com/setupcodehelp/DTV
2. You will probably have to check local stores.
3. The remote is owned. The only thing you would lease is the receiver. No commitment is required

well, never mind, it doesn't look like ANY remote will support it. Probably should have read this (http://www.epinions.com/content_161633439364)before I bought it...

You're better off calling customer service @ 800-531-5000. They'll sell you one for cheap including shipping and they billed mine to my DTV account.
Remember, there are two models... there's the naked RC32RF and the RC32RF kit (with the antenna). If you need the RF antenna MAKE SURE you order the kit and that the CSR understands that there is a naked remote and the remote kit.

1. How cheap?:)
2. RF isn't that important to me, my R15 is on top of my TV and I use the IR on RC23 happily. What I wanted [U]really /U] was for it to support the DVD player, but I also wanted the backlight. But I won't spend $25 for it.

Kevin,
The naked RC32RF was $25 including shipping and I consider that a GREAT deal considering what that remote does. You won't find those features for less and the RC32RF is a good quality remote with a good "feel".
