After over a week of getting no audio dropouts or pixelation they have now returned to HD channels 70-79 with a vengence making HD about worthless..D* needs to fix there HD problems before they keep hyping about how great and clesr there HD is and about the prospect of getting 100 more channels that donot work properly

This is usually caused by signal loss, so what are your SAT transponders power levels?

No transponder below 85 on any SAT and on both tuners most above 90

OK, usually doesn't apply... how long are the dropouts?

I'm in the same boat. I "upgraded" from an HR10 last Monday. SD seems too be a little better, but sports in HD is total pixelation. OTA HD is good, so not a TV setting issue. All transponders are over 90. I'm not sure what to do.

This problem comes and goes..Dropouts about every 3 secons until about 7 pm..now everything ok..Recording anything is a hit ao miss situation
