I guess that the FCC is not granting the requested delay from Echostar and DirecTV on their merger.
The FCC's Website says that Chairman Powell will announce the FCC's decision in the EchoStar-DirecTV Merger Application.

Are they announcing a decision or just making an announcement?

CNBC reported that the FCC has not blocked a merger since 1969 and rarely do they announce before DOJ. Apparently this merger was DOA months ago.
